Feb. 28, 1990

I took a two-hour walk today, down Wolseley Ave., right to the end and back home. It was completely wonderful. I looked at each and every house along the river. At one point I had found myself at a little clearing, and tears came to my eyes as I surveyed the river and trees. I guess I long for nature. I love water and forests. When I got back home I phoned K. and she invited me over for pizza, so I went there.  As usual, I enjoyed my visit with the cats.

(This experince led to a dream that a kindly old man sold me one of those beautiful houses overlooking the Assiniboine River for a mere $40,000.)

(A few years after this experience, I moved out to the country. Best thing I ever did.)
